Foe tragically dies

Marc Vivien Foe of Cameroon is stretched off the field during his semi-final Confederations Cup match against Colombia, at Gerland stadium in Lyon, central France, June 26, 2003. Foe, who spent last season on loan at English club Manchester City from French club Olympique Lyon, died after collapsing 15 minutes from the end of the match, won 1-0 by Cameroon. A FIFA spokesman said that his heart stopped after he was taken from the pitch. Medical staff tried for 45 minutes to restart his heart, without success.

I just heard about this...man that sucks

i was very, very sadenend by the news, i heard them whilst driving home, i stopped and parked and had a couple of beers for an hour or so while contemplating this, although an agnostic by nature, i did a few prayers before it was declared he passed away, what a sad, sad occurence.
